ISPS Handa World Super 6 Perth

February 2018

Lee travelled to Perth for the second ISPS Handa World Super 6 which takes place at Lake Karinyip.

He is grouped with last year's winner, Brett Rumford and Andrew Johnston, for the first two rounds, teeing off at 0700 (local) from the 10th on Thursday, getting off to a good start with five birdies, an eagle at 15 and a bogey at 8, ending the day in T2nd place.

He ended Friday in joint lead with Brett Rumford but his 78 saw him tumble down the leaderboard to T40th place.

"I think you've got to come out as fast as you can and obviously make the cut on Friday night, but then getting in that top 24, so you might as well be aggressive and go for everything".

After completing the three rounds of stroke play, the format changed and the top 24 go into the final day for the matchplay event. Lee was unlucky to miss out.
