It's back to work for Lee after spending post-Christmas holidays in the Maldives.

He ended in T8th place in the 2017 Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and was T2nd (best finish to date) in 2008.

Lee had a first round tee-time from the 1st with Tyrell Hatton and Paul Casey at 11.55 (7.55 GMT) on Thursday and was 2-over for his round. He had a 7.40 (3.40 GMT) start from the 10th on Friday but despite recording a 3-under 69, he missed the cut set at 1-under par.
