DP World Tour Championship, Dubai

Lee is in Dubai this week for the DP WorldTour Championships at Jumeirah Golf Estates. Lee won the inaugural event in 2009 on 23 under par, 6 strokes ahead of the chasing pack.

He teed off at 10.35 with Nic Colsaerts on Thursday but had a disappointing back nine, ending 3-over for the day (75). Lee later spent time on the range with Pete Cowen. 

He played alongside Jordan Smith in Friday's round, with an 800hr tee-time (0400 GMT). He ended his round in T55th place after shooting a 73 (+4).

With Thomas Pieters, he teed off at 8.05 on Saturday. Justin Rose took the lead on 15 under par. Lee had a better day, signing for a 68 and is par for the event.

He had a 7.35 start on Sunday, with Andrew Dodt. Lee recorded a 71 to end the event 1-under par and in T52nd place, which earned him €29,479 in prize money. Spain's Jon Rahm was the DP World Tour Champion 2017 on 19-under par and Tommy Fleetwood won the Race to Dubai with 5,420,530 points.

In the final standings for the Race to Dubai for 2017, Lee finished in 28th place with 1,240,688 points after 23 events.
