DP World Tour Championship

Lee arrived in Dubai on Monday for the DP World Tour Championship at Jumeirah Golf Estates. He won the event in it's inaugural year as Dubai World Championship in 2009 and has had some top ten finishes in the event since then, T3rd in 2010  and T5th in 2013. He was T48th here, last year.

Playing alongside Alex Noren, Lee had a 5.55 (GMT) tee-time for the first round, adding 1-under 71 to his card. He has a 9.55 (5.55 GMT) start with Gary Stal on Friday. Two-under for the second round, Lee now lies in T28th place on 3-under par.

Again out with Gary Stal, Lee was 2-over for the day and finished in T48th on 1-under, along with Justin Rose, who shares a 7.40 tee-time with Lee on Sunday.

Lee ended the event in T42nd place on 3-under par follwing a last round. 2-under 70.  He won €45,000 in prize money.

 

Rory McIlroy won the title on 21-under par.

 

Lee now travels to Australia for the Emirates Australian Open.
