Back in Bangkok this week, Lee plays in the Thailand Golf Championship at Amata Spring Country Club, as defending champion.
Lee also won the inaugural event in 2011.
He has an opening round tee-time of 11.40 ( GMT +7) with Prayad Marksaeng and Martin Kaymer. In T33rd place following a first round 71 (1-under), he now has a 7.10 tee-time on Friday.
Carding a 68 moves Lee up to T11th place on 5-under par.
Lee thundered up the leaderboard to third place after recording a third round 64, and is now 13-under par and three shots off the lead.
âI was confident and in control and it has got to do with being on a course which Iâve won twice before. I hit it close a lot today and I played with a new putter,â he said after his round.
Lee had an excellent end to the 2015 season when he finished in T2nd place on 18 under par, after carding a final round 67.
