WGC Cadillac Championship
March 2015
The WGC event takes place at Trump National Doral, Miami Florida this week.
Lee was T34th here last year, but his best finish to date was second in 2000. Lee made history on Thursday morning when he became the first player to take part in 50 World Golf Championship events.
With Louis Oosthuizen and Jason Dufner, Lee had a 1.01 (6.01pm GMT) tee-time from the 10th on Thursday. He began with a bogey at the 10th and followed by bogeys at 13 and 15, but birdies at the 16th and 17th brought him back to one over for his outward nine. Three birdies and a bogey on his back nine recorded a 1-under 71, to lie in T13th place on the leaderboard.
Lee had an 11.44 start from the 1st on Friday. Carding a second round 72, Lee remained on 1-under par and now lies T11th.
He had a 12.45 tee-time on Saturday with stablemate Charl Schwartzel and added a 2 -under 72 to his card, moving him up to T8th place. Now 3-under for the event, Lee had a final tee-time of 2.05 on Sunday. Two bogeys on the outward nine and a double bogey at the 10th left Lee with a lot of work to do. He made birdie at 16, but bogeyed the 17th and signed off with a birdie at the difficult 18th hole. His final round 75 saw him end the event on even par and T12th on the leaderboard with $123,000 in prize money.
