Slync io Dubai Desert Classic 2022

The Slync-io Dubai desert Classic 2022 takes place at the Emirates Golf Club this week.He has had three 2nd place finishes and last year ended in T17th place.

He had a 12,20 tee time for the 1st round with Ian Poulter and Erik Van Rooyen and made birdie at 7 bogeyed 15, then birdied the rest to finish on 3 -under,  finishing in T 15th place. He had a 7.50 start from the 10th on Friday with all the action on his front nine. He again shot a 69 and is now 6 under,

Day 3 began with a bogey but then he birdied 6 of the next 9 holes. taking him to 10 under par. At 14, he made bogey but trouble struck at 18 when he took 8 strokes (71) and he was left on 7 under par.

He had a final round tee-time of 11.13 with Padraig Harrington and Tyrrell Hatton. But Lee didn't fare too well as he closed with 1 under par for the event. He said "You don't get what you feel you deserve out of tournaments. +7 for the last hole at the weekend wasn’t ideal but it’s important to take the positives. Didn’t get too many good breaks this week and last so it’s vital to stay patient and stick to the process. Pretty happy with the start to the year having had covid in December and playing very little golf since the Ryder Cup. Looking forward to next week at The Saudi International". 

He finished in T32nd place with Viktor Hovland winning the title on 18 under par, following a play-off against Richard Bland.
