This week Lee plays in the The Open at Royal St Georges at Sandwich, Kent. His best finish was 2nd in 2010 and last year he finished T4th.

Lee who recieved the Associated Writers Player of the Year award on the European Tour, joins Stuart Cink and Martin Kaymer for the first two rounds at 10.09 on Thursday and 3.10 on Friday. He was +1 (71) after the first round. In the second round Lee opened with a bogey, followed by another at 5, Birdies at 6 and 7 brought him hack to par for the day, he then went on to birdie holes at 12,13 and 14, bogeyed 15 and birdied the last, to take him to -2 (67) and  T31st place, which will see him play the weekend, 

 Lee shot 72 for the third round, seeing him end the day in T44th place on the leaderboard. Louis Oosthuizen leads by just one point on 12-under. 

Lee tees off at 10.35 with Matthius Schmid. Lee shot another 72 and finished T59th on 2-over par.

Colin Morikawa  took the title and the Claret Jug on 15-under par.
