WGC Mexico Championship

Lee flew to Mexico City on Sunday to take part in the WGC Mexico Championship at Club de Golf, Chapultepec.

His best finish here was T12th in 2015. He finished T33rd last year.

He had a 12.39 start from the 1st with Sergio Garcia and Webb Simpson on Thursday, making birdies at 2,6,10 and 11 , with bogeys at 4 and 16. His 2-under par (69) saw him T8th for the day, four shots behind leader, Rory McIlroy.

"Nice solid start to the Mexico. Not easy out there with a bit of breeze. Looking forward to tomorrow", he commented. 

Lee had an 11.27 tee-time from the 10th on Friday and began well with a hat trick of birdies from the 13th until he bogeyed 16 again.  He also bogeyed the 1st hole and went on to par the remaiining holes to finish 1-under for the day. 3 under par and T11th.

Lee, alongside Kevin Na, had an 11.54 tea-time on Saturday, carding a 70 . He had a 12.06 start with Scottie Scheffler and Sebastian Munoz for the final round and added a further 70 to his card, finishing in T22nd place on the leaderboard.

He remains in the USA for the Honda Classic in Palm Beach, Florida.
