Lee has been practising at Liberty National Golf Course, ahead of The Barclays at Plainfield Country Club, which begins on 27th August.

He plays the event for the fourth time. Previous finishes were T5th in 2012 and T25th in 2013. He took T57th place in this event last year.

Lee had an 8.48 tee-time wit Carlos Ortiz and Chad Collins, from the 1st on Thursday.

Lee made five birdies and three bogeys in his first round and was 3-under par until he dropped a shot at 17. He lies in T18 place after he signed his card for a 2-under 68. Bubba Watson leads on 5-under.

He had a 1.28 start from the 10th on Friday. Bubba retained the lead by one stroke ahead of the chasing pack, but Lee's 73 took him to one over for the event and making the cut set at 2-over.

Lee had a 9am tee-time with Carlos Ortiz on Saturday, recording another 73.

On Sunday, playing alongside ohn Senden, Lee shot a 69 (5 birdies, 2 bogeys and a double bogey) and ended the event on 3-over par and in T58th place.

Jason Day took the title on 19 under par.
