The Irish Open takes place at Lahinch Golf Club in County Clare. Lee finshed T19th, on 5-under par in the event last year.

Alongside Paul Dunne and Eddie Pepperell, Lee has an opening round tee-time of 13.35. With son Sam on the bag, Lee carded 4 birdies on the back nine to end the day T 8th on 4-under par. Padraig Harrington leads the way on 7-under.

He had an 8.50 start on Friday and moved up to T6th on 7 under par, after signing for a 67.

Lee teed off alongside Andy Sullivan at 12.30 on Saturday. is +1 71, saw him end the round in T22nd place. He and Abraham Anser had an 11.00 final tee time and Lee was backed to 7-under following a final round 69.

Lee finshed T23rd, with Spain's Jon Rahm winning the title on 16-under par.

Lee makes his next appearance at The Scottish Open.
