Lee is in Dubai this week for the DP WorldTour Championships at Jumeirah Golf Estates. Lee won the inaugural event in 2009 on 23 under par, 6 strokes ahead of the chasing pack and finished 28th here, last year.

In form Lee, played the first round with Sergio Garcia, teeing off at 11.30, carding a 2-under 70 and T22nd for the day. He had a 10.40 start with Thomas Detry on Friday and added a 69. Matt Wallace leads on 11-under.

Lee had an 11.10 tee time with Shubhankar Sharma on Saturday and with a bogey free 7-under par 65, moved up to T3rd on 12 under par, just two strokes off the lead.

Lee had a final tee time of 11.50 with Jordan Smith.Carding a 76, he finished T20th. 

Danny Willett was this year's champion on 18 under par,
