Lee plays in the US Open this week, which takes place at Erin Hills, Hartford Wisconsin. His best finish was 3rd at Torrey Pines in 2008. Last year he finished T32nd.

Lee teed off at 9.02 from the 10th with Graeme McDowell and Ross Fisher. 5 birdies and a double bogey on his opening nine, saw him sign for a 3-under 69 (T11th) for the first round.

A bogey at the 1st and double bogey at the 4th (75) saw him slip back to even par for the event, but good enough to make the cut set at 1-over par.

With bogeys at 3,5 and 11, double bogey at 13 and birdies at 6 and the last, Lee signed for another 75 and dropped 13 places to T56th on 3 over par.

A final 76 saw Lee finish in T55th place on 7-over par.
