WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play

Lee travelled to Austin in Texas for the WGC Dell Technologies Match Play, which takes place at Austin CC. His best placing so far was 4th in 2012.

Lee was in the third group of matches on Wednesday with  Mark Leishman, Pat Perez and Jason Day. It was a tough start for Lee who bogeyed three of his first holes. He lost to Leishman 3 and 2 and was due to play Jason Day on Thursday.  Jason withdrew after 6 holes to be with his Mother who is undergoing a serious operation on Friday. Lee will therefore get one point. He was commentating on Thursday's matches.

Lee took the lead at the 5th hole in his match against Perez on Friday . By 13 he was 2-up and remained so until the match ended 2 & 1.

In a sudden death play off with Perez and Leishman all players made par at the 1st hole but Leishman won the second with a birdie.

Dustin Johnson won the event retaining the title.

Lee remains in the US for the Shell Houston Open.
