Maybank Championship Open

Lee plays in the Maybank Championship Open at Saujana Golf and Country Club in Kuala Lumpur. He was winner of the Maybank Malaysian Open in 1997 and 2014.

With Anirban Lahiri and Charl Schwartzel for the first two rounds, Lee had a 1300 (GMT + 8 hrs) from the 1st on Thursday and 0810 from the 10th on Friday.

He had a mixed bag on Thursday with a birdie, bogey,double bogey and an eagle to take him back to par on the front nine. He continued to make par on the remaining holes until the 17th, which he bogeyed to take him to 1-over for the round.  First round leader was Mark Warren on 9-under par.

It was a good second round for Lee, who shot a 6-under 66 and moved up to T19th on 5-under. Leader, Bernd Weisberger is 12-under.

He had an 8.45 tee time on Saturday with Thongchai Jaidee and Prom Meesawat recording a 2-under 70, Lee ended the round in T16th place on 7-under par, with Danny Willett leading on 16 under.

He had an 8.35 start with Shiv Kapur and Pablo Larrazbal from the 1st and with a final round of par, ended T26th on the Leaderboard.

Winner of the event was Fabrizio Zanotti on 19 under.

Lee now heads to South Africa for the Dimension Data Pro-Am,
